Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide a checklist of key tasks in the Plan stage of SolutionAmp which is focused on how to complete the planning activities necessary for a project to be effectively planned and assessed using SolutionAmp.
Pre-Requisites – Administration Tasks
✅ You have received your User credentials and have validated your login details.
✅ You have completed all SolutionAmp training modules available to you.
✅ A SolutionAmp Instance has been created which represents your company’s workspace (container).
✅ A SolutionAmp Organisational Unit has been created which can be a division, branch or any part of an organisation tasked with the role of running projects.
PLAN Tasks
✅ Step 1: Create a Project. An assurance unit (project) has been created.
✅ Step 2: Manage Project Hierarchy. You have completed managing your project hierarchy, i.e. defined multiple releases/tranches.
✅ Step 3: Delivery Model Adoption . A delivery model has been adopted which reflects how your project will be delivered, i.e. Agile/Waterfall.
✅ Step 4: Delivery Model Tailoring. Your delivery model has been tailored specific to your project's needs. Ensure exclusion notes are included in this process.
✅ Step 5: Export Work Schedule. Export your tailored delivery model and import into MS Project format as your project schedule template.
✅ You and your team understand all work products you need to plan and complete throughout the project lifecycle.
