Occasionally we want a way to share report results with a client without giving them login access to the AI Assurance system. That is why we created "private links" to enable reports to be accessed. These links are designed for people who do not have log in access to AI Assurance.
Sometimes private links can create confusion for users with a login as the browser can store this information and attempt to load the private link at the wrong time. Note this does not need to be in same browser session, but the issue occurs when the same browser application is used. Common problems include not being able to preview a report or load an AI Assurance (or SolutionAmp or TeamAmp) dashboard from a logged in account after accessing a private link.
The fix is to enable a user to log out of a private link from within their logged in session if this issue occurs.
For example see the below private link session which shows "Viewing as r1EmRaX6aLAMo9sxQTJZcGvtoyzvBW8Q — Sign out" in the mid grey bar at the top right hand side.
When you go back to a logged in session and refresh you move from tool bar to no tool bar but with the private link log in details. Note it looks like you are accessing via a private link but you are in a logged in session. If from here you click "sign out" of the private link the tool bar returns. If you now return to your session that was a private link session you will note it has a tool bar as well. You are logged out of all private link sessions.
How a page should look when logged into an account. Note the persistent tool bar with "home" and "profile."
Note TeamAmp dashboard accessed from logged in account. Note the persistent tool bar with "home" and "profile."
Note TeamAmp dashboard review from logged in account. Note the persistent tool bar with "home" and "profile" and also the breadcrumbs to return to the dashboard.
Issue - Private Link
Note Teamamp review accessed via a private link. Note there is NO persistent tool bar with "home" and "profile" and NO breadcrumbs to return to the dashboard.
